Community Egg Hunt and Breakfast — Saturday, April 12

Mount Nittany United Methodist Church is hosting its Community Egg Hut and Breakfast at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, at the church in State College.

The event will feature pictures with the Easter Bunny, a family craft and an egg for kids aged one to 12.

Guests are invited to share food, fun and fellowship as they celebrate the season.

CCC Easter Egg Hunt — Saturday, April 12

Christ Community Church Kidzone is hosting its CCC Easter Egg Hunt from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 12, at the C3 Sports Dome in State College.

Registration for the egg hunt can be found online at cccsc.org/egghunt. There will be more than 10,000 eggs to find, bounce houses, a free Easter Bunny photo booth, music from DJ Gaspedal and more.

Egg Hut Extravaganza at Juniper Village Brookline — Saturday, April 12

Juniper Village at Brookline is hosting its Egg Hunt Extravaganza beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, at Juniper Village in State College.

Kids of all ages are welcome, so guests are invited to bring their families and bring a basket. There will also be drinks from Good Day Café and a petting zoo at the event.

The egg hunt for kids under five will begin at 10 a.m. and the egg hunt for those six and older will be at 10: 30. RSVPs are encouraged and can be done by emailing Cat at Caitlin.Rokavec@JuniperCommunities.com.

Easter Craft Fair and Egg Hunt — Saturday, April 12

There will be an Easter Craft Fair and Egg Hunt starting at 9 a.m. on Friday, April 12, at the Lemont Village Green in Lemont.

Hosted by CentrePointe, the egg hunt will begin at 10 a.m. with registration open at 9:45 a.m., and is open to kids 12 and under.

There will be prizes, giveaways, craft vendors, food, drinks and Sunny Cup Coffee.

Adult Easter Egg Hunt to Benefit ThinkBIG — Saturday, April 12

Weis Markets, Wetzler Funeral Home, Centre Dental Care and Mount Nittany Health are presenting the first-ever Adult Egg Hunt at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, hosted at Axemann Brewery in Bellefonte.

Largely organized by the friends and family of the Bjalme family, whose son battled pediatric brain cancer. The family was inspired to organize the event to benefit ThinkBIG, who helped them during their pediatric cancer journey.

The event is 21+ and tickets are available for $50 which includes two drink tickets, live music and the egg hunt. There will also be a basket raffle at the event.

‘Eggs-citing’ Community Egg Hunt — Sunday, April 13

The Greater Buffalo Run Valley United Methodist Church is hosting an egg hunt open to the public at 11;15 a.m. on Sunday, April 13, at the Church in Bellefonte.

All children all welcome and the egg hunt will be held outside on the lawn and moved inside in the case of rain. The eggs will be full of candy, small toys and prize tickets.

Teen Flashlight Egg Hunt — Wednesday, April 16

There will be a Teen Flashlight Egg Hunt at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, at Millbrook Marsh Nature Center in State College.

Bring your flashlight and friends to hunt for eggs filled with prizes in the dark.

The event is $10 for residents and $15 for nonresidents.

Bellefonte Children’s Garden Egg Hunt — Friday, April 18

Kids eight and under are invited to hunt for colorful eggs filled with prizes at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 18, at the Bellefonte Children’s Garden.

The hunt goes quickly, so guests are asked to arrive early.

Bellefonte Community Easter Egg Hunt — Saturday, April 19

The Bellefonte Community Easter Egg Hunt at Talleyrand Park will begin with festivities at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 19.

The egg pickup will begin at 2 p.m. and is free to all kids 12 and under. There will also be an egg hunt area for kids with special needs.

Held in conjunction with Historic Bellefonte Inc., there will be games, crafts, refreshments and a visit from the Easter Bunny.

Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt — Saturday, April 19

There will be a Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, at Bald Eagle Area High School.

The free event is hosted by FL Kids at Freedom Life Church. There will be different areas divided by age groups to hunt for candy-filled eggs. Additionally, kids in grades five and up will have the chance to win additional prizes.

Fairbrook UMC Easter Egg Hunt — Saturday, April 19

There will be an Easter Egg Hunt at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, at Fairbrook UMC in Pennsylvania Furnace.

The egg hunt will be held rain or shine, so guests are asked to dress for the weather and bring a basket or bag. The egg hunt will be followed by family activities.

Easter Parade — Sunday, April 20

The Bellefonte Historical and Cultural Association along with Helen Foxx and Co. are sponsoring an Easter Sunday Sidewalk Parade at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 20, in front of the courthouse in Bellefonte.

At the parade, there will be live music, cash prizes, opportunities to help the hungry and a special reception on the courthouse lawn.

Guests are invited to wear their Sunday best to parade along the sidewalk from the Helen Foxx Boutique, up Allegheny Street until they meet a panel of judges in front of the courthouse to score their Easter attire based on sass, class and creativity for a prize. Extra points will be awarded to those who bring a donation to the FaithCentre Food Patry.

Those interested in walking in the parade and competing can register as a student (under 18), a single adult, a couple or a family (more than three people). It’s free to enter but guests must register at events.bellefontearts.org.
