Amid the smell of fair food and the hum of tractors at the 152nd Centre County Grange Encampment and Fair, hundreds of attendees took a brief timeout from fair activities, to check on their cardiac health. VNA Health Systems, operating locally through Centre Home Care-State College, hosted its annual free blood pressure screenings, positioning preventive medical outreach directly within one of Pennsylvania’s oldest summer traditions. Nurses associated with the VNA Health System worked to provide complimentary blood pressure checks to fairgoers.
