Philipsburg Elks Lodge and Country Club recently raised $7,000 through one of its largest fundraisers — a hoagie sale. According to lodge Veterans Service Committee Chairman Larry Thompson, $3,500 of the proceeds has already been used to purchase clothing and other necessities for veterans residing at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home. The Elks plan to utilize the remaining $3,500 in a Spring 2026 timeframe for donation to local veterans.
