Punkin’ Chunkin’ Fall Festival — Saturday, Oct. 18

Howard Vol. Fire Co. will host the Punkin’ Chunkin’ Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 18 at Bald Eagle State Park in Howard. The event features incredible pumpkin-flinging machines, local vendors, and thousands of attendees for a full day of free, family-friendly fun. Punkin’ Chunkin’ is the art of launching pumpkins through the air using catapults, trebuchets, and other engineered contraptions. Each year, teams from near and far show off their custom-built machines and send pumpkins soaring over the lake.

Trunk-or-Treat & Fall Festival – Saturday, Oct. 18

Families are invited to Bald Eagle Area High School for a Trunk-or-Treat & Fall Festival hosted by Freedom Life Church will be held at Bald Eagle Area High School on Saturday, Oct. 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be inflatables, a petting zoo, and concessions. Admission is free and no registration is required.

Wasson Farm Fest — Saturday, Oct. 18, and Sunday, Oct. 19

Wasson Farm will have its Fall Fest weekend from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, and Sunday, Oct. 19, at Wasson Farm in State College. There will be a hayride, pick your own pumpkin at the pumpkin patch, corn maze, farm animals, straw tunnel, games, barrel train, food and wine tasting.

Hot Dogs for Hearing at Harner Farm — Saturday, Oct. 18 and Sunday, Oct. 19

Harner Farm and Delta Zeta Sorority are partnering for their 10th year to benefit the Starkey Hearing Foundation. Grab a hot dog to support the cause and enjoy all the activities at the farm including a corn maze, haunted house, all things apple and more at Harner Farm on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.

Haunted Night Maze — Thursday Oct. 23, Friday Oct. 24 and Saturday Oct. 25

Harner Farm and Delta Zeta Sorority will host a Haunted Night Maze from 7 p.m. To 10 p.m. Ticket sales and entry start at 7 p.m. Last entry is 9 p.m. Location is at Harner Farm in State College 

Rhoneymeade Arboretum Fall Festival —  Saturday, Oct. 25

Rhoneymeade Arboretum Fall Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Rhoneymeade, east of Boalsburg on state Route 45, then north on Rimmey Road. There will be plenty of activities, fun, games, and hands-on challenges, such as kite flying, paint your own pumpkin, and grow your own tree; meet several wild animals from the local wildlife care facility, and enjoy a delightful food selection. There will be directional signs posted for the event.

Harner Farm will have a Fall Festival from 9 a.m. to 5p.m. on Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday at Harner Farm in State College. There will be apple picking, corn maze, haunted house, pumpkins, mums, apple cider donuts, apple cider slushies and more both days. Kids games Sunday.

Brookside Wesleyan Church Fall Festival – Sunday, Oct. 26

Brookside Wesleyan Church, 403 Bush Hollow Rd.  in Julian, invites you to a fun family event for all ages, including trunk and treat, a hayride, an inflatable obstacle course, a chili cook-off, games, music, popcorn, hotdogs and drinks. Event held from 2 to 4 p.m.

Haunted Night Maze — Tuesday, Oct. 28, Wednesday, Oct. 29 and Thursday, Oct. 30

Our Lady of Victory Bazaar — Saturday, Nov. 1
From 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., this annual bazaar is open to the public and features food, baked goods, kid’s games, yard sale of toys, crafts, entertainment, theme basket raffle, and silent auction. The event is held at OLV School, 800 Westerly Parkway, State College.

Good Shepherd Catholic Church Fall Festival — Saturday, Nov. 15

The Good Shepherd Catholic Church Fall Festival will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15, at the church in Port Matilda. There will be food trucks, crafts for sale, kids’ activities, a play area, music and more.
