Festival of the Arts, People’s Choice dominate local arts scene

For a few days every July, Centre County becomes the center of Pennsylvania’s arts scene. The Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts filled downtown State College from July 8-12, while the People’s Choice Festival welcomed visitors back to Boalsburg from July 9-12. Together, the festivals showcased hundreds of artists, live entertainment, delicious food and countless moments shared by families, friends and visitors. Here is a look back at some of the sights, smiles and memories captured during two of Centre County’s signature summer traditions.
