STATE COLLEGE — Trout Unlimited and the Veterans Service Project recently announced that they will offer fly fishing classes at the South Hills School of Business & Technology. These classes are designed for anglers of all levels, from beginners to experienced fly fishers looking to improve their skills. The classes will be held on March 4, 11, 18 and 25.

The classes will be taught by experienced fly fishing instructors and will cover a variety of topics, including casting techniques, fly selection, reading water and basic knots. Participants will also have the opportunity to practice their skills on local streams and rivers, with guided outings led by the instructors.

Trout Unlimited is a national organization dedicated to conserving, protecting and restoring North America’s cold water fisheries and their watersheds. By offering these fly fishing classes, the organization hopes to educate and inspire more people to get involved in the sport of fly fishing and become advocates for the conservation of our nation’s waterways.

South Hills’ location in Centre County is near some of the best trout streams in the country, and the instructors are passionate about sharing their knowledge and helping others enjoy this incredible sport.

South Hills is located at 480 Waupelani Drive in State College.
