CENTRE HALL — Musical performances are just a part of what makes the Grange Fair special. In the 151st rendition of the Grange Fair, a star-studded lineup of performers is sure to entertain the fairgrounds.
Eight concerts, starting at 8 p.m. each night, will take place during the fair. The concerts are included in the price of admission to the fair, making them free for all fairgoers. The stage will be set up in front of the grandstand, which can be found on Grandstand Row of the fairgrounds.
FRIDAY, AUG. 15, AT 8 P.M. — DARRYL WORLEY
Darryl Worley, a country music legend and Memphis native, is set to kick off the grandstand performances for the 151st Centre County Grange Fair.
Worley’s six albums have produced 18 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, including three number ones: “I Miss My Friend,” “Have You Forgotten?” and “Awful, Beautiful Life,” from 2002, 2003 and 2004–05, respectively.
SATURDAY, AUG. 16 AT 8 P.M. — TERRY LEE GOFFEE: TRIBUTE TO JOHNNY CASH
Terry Lee Goffee offers The World’s Greatest Johnny Cash Experience with his tribute show, Train of Love.
Born in Cambridge, Ohio, Goffee dedicated his life to music at a young age. As one of his biggest musical influences, Johnny Cash had a great impact on Goffee’s life and musical taste. However, Goffee wanted to do more than sing his songs. He turned towards embodying the character and spread his work in a tribute show with the endorsement of Cash’s family.
MONDAY, AUG. 18 AT 8 P.M. — NEAL MCCOY
Born in Jacksonville, Texas, Neal McCoy provides an impressive rap sheet of hit country music.
McCoy has released fifteen studio albums on various labels and has released 34 singles to country radio. In 1993, McCoy had back-to-back No. 1 singles in his platinum-certified album “No Doubt About It.” He is also the recipient of multiple Humanitarian awards from The Academy of Country Music, The Country Radio Broadcasters and The Masonic Grand Lodge.
TUESDAY, AUG. 19 AT 8 P.M. — CONSUMED BY FIRE
Described as a Contemporary Christian Music Band, Consumed by Fire has had a steady stream of success since they started in 2010. The brother trio is made up of lead vocalist and guitarist, Caleb Ward, drummer and background vocalist, Jordan Ward and lead guitarist, Joshua Ward.
WEDNESDAY, AUG. 20 AT 8 P.M. — BRYAN MARTIN
An American country music singer from Logansport, Louisiana, Bryan Martin began playing music in 2018 after a stint of working on an oil rig, playing American football, bull riding and an enlistment in the United States Army.
Martin has released three albums, with his most recent being “Poets & Old Souls.” By 2023, the song “We Ride” had begun charting on the Billboard Country Airplay charts and reached the Billboard Hot 100 in early 2024. Martin was then booked as an opening act for Morgan Wallen and Warren Zeiders.
THURSDAY, AUG. 21 AT 8 P.M. – ERICH CAWALLA & THE UPTOWN BAND
Based out of Reading, Pennsylvania, Erich Cawalla started The Uptown Band in 2006, pairing his swinging saxophone and vocal work with that of a high-energy crew. Described as a funky mix of jazz, soul and pop, the band has had a decorated legacy since its creation.
After beginning to write their own music in 2008, Erich Cawalla and The Uptown Band have two original albums that have been critically acclaimed throughout the world. Whether it’s original music or popular covers, Erich Cawalla and The Uptown Band are going to put on a show at this year’s Centre County Grange Fair.
FRIDAY, AUG. 22 AT 8 P.M. — CALEB & JOHN
This rising Contemporary Christian duo has quickly taken the genre by storm with a No.1 Christian Radio hit, two K-LOVE Fan Award nominations and some social media success. Caleb and John, who have been described as high-energy, vibrant and bold, are making a powerful impact in Christian music.
SATURDAY, AUG. 23 AT 8 P.M. — CHRIS WOODWARD & SHINDIGGIN
Hailing from Central Pennsylvania, Chris Woodward and his band Shindiggin deliver a high-energy and electrifying country music experience. Between original music and popular country and rock covers, Woodward and Shindiggin have headlined massive venues like the NASCAR Pocono 500 and Hershey Park. Woodward has performed with major players in the country scene, such as Toby Keith, Dierks Bentley and Chris Young.
