PHILIPSBURG — Friends of Black Moshannon State Park sponsored a Summer Beach Party at the park’s beach on Saturday, Aug. 15 at 6 p.m. The entire event was free for everyone who attended.
Attendees danced to music by D.J. TayTerr and enjoyed a campfire to roast hotdogs and marshmallows.
There were various contests held with prizes for all winners. The Solomon Family of State College won top honors in the family sand art contest.
A movie was held under the stars at 8:30 p.m. to finish off the event.
