STATE COLLEGE – Throughout the month of December, The Centre County Gazette held a Holiday Hunt prize contest, where readers searched through the newspaper to find hidden holiday icons in advertisements throughout the publication.
This search was conducted through the month of December. Readers kept a log of discovered icons on a contest entry form published in the Gazette and mailed in their entry sheets to win four prizes sponsored by local businesses.
More than 100 entries were received!
Winners were selected at random from all entries received. The lucky recipients are as follows:
- Weaver’s Store, 108 Market Dr., Spring Mills – $25 gift card – won by the Dreyer-Proctor family
- Fisher Shoe & Saddle, 201 Madisonburg Pike, Madisonburg – $25 gift card – won by Leslie Conklin of Pleasant Gap.
- Belle Mercantile, 135 S. Spring St., Bellefonte – $25 gift card – won by Rebecca Reese of State College.
- Wetzler Funeral Home, 206 N. Spring St., Bellefonte — $25 Visa gift card – won by Shelby Hoy of Pennsylvania Furnace.
