Downtown State College Farmers Market — Friday, June 20
The Downtown State College Farmers Market will be from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, June 20, at the intersection of Locust Lane and East College Avenue in State College.
At the farmers market, there will be baked goods, locally grown vegetables and flowers, preserves, salsa, barbecue sauces, coffee, well-being products and more.
Friday Concert on the Village Green — Friday, June 20
Jeff Gibble, Zeb Crews and Zach Humphreys will perform the Friday Concert on the Village Green from 7:30 to 9 p.m. on Friday, June 20, at the Lemont Village Green in Lemont.
Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair for sitting and are welcome to bring a picnic.
Ice cream cones will be served by Scout Troop 367 with a contribution to the troop for projects.
Harvest Tasting — Friday, June 20
There will be a Harvest Tasting from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, June 20, at the Arboretum at Penn State in State College.
Guests are invited to come out and explore the flavors of the growing season with a taste of fresh produce grown in the beds of the children’s garden.
The Longest Day Celebration — Friday, June 20
Juniper Village at Brookline invites the public to its programming celebrating the Alzheimer’s Association’s Longest Day, an annual campaign to raise awareness and fundraise. There will be activities from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 20, at Juniper in State College.
Activities include Breakfast Grab-n-Go Fundraiser, Opening Day Walk Outside, Longest Day Sunrise Stretches, DIY Tie Dye Station Fundraiser, Mid-Day Stride Walk, Ice Cream Truck Fundraiser, Courtyard Social, Music for the Mind Concert and Longest Day Evening Stroll.

Organ Recital — Saturday, June 21
David A. Billings, retired Minister of Music Ministries and organist at Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church, Pittsburgh, will perform an organ recital at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, at Grace Lutheran Church in State College.
Billings is a Penn State alum, where he studied organ and harpsichord. He received his master’s and doctoral degrees from The Eastman School of Music in New York and was an adjunct professor at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.
The recital is open to the public and is a tribute to the retired Penn State professor, June Miller, and her career of organ teaching and performance.
Fifth Annual Strawberry Festival — Saturday, June 21
Greater Buffalo Run United Methodist Church is hosting its Fifth Annual Strawberry Festival from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, at the church in Bellefonte.
The event will have yard games from 4 to 7 p.m., face painting from 4 to 6 p.m. and a piñataat 6 p.m.
All proceeds from the event benefit the church’s outreach ministries and the menu will include strawberry shortcake with ice cream, sloppy Joes, hot dogs, snacks, iced tea, lemonade and water.
Centre Care Butterfly Trail and Release — Saturday, June 21
Centre Care Wellness and Rehabilitation Services is hosting the Butterfly Trail and Release from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, at Centre Care in Bellefonte.
The community is invited to join Centre Care volunteers, residents and families for activities, crafts, a silent auction, refreshments and the release of butterflies in memory of and to honor loved ones.
SCOPEX 2025 and Match Factory Open House — Saturday, June 21 and Sunday, June 22
Mount Nittany Philatelic Society (stamp collectors in State College and Bellefonte) is hosting SCOPEX 2025, the annual exhibition and sales event, Saturday, June 21 and Sunday, June 22, at the American Philatelic Center in Bellefonte’s historic Match Factory.
Coinciding with the event will be a Match Factory Open House. There will also be local experts, dealers, exhibits, presentations, building tours, a gift shop, kids’ activities, a food truck and more.
Happy Valley Puzzle Swap and Casual Puzzling — Sunday, June 22
Guests are invited to swap their gently used jigsaw puzzles, learn puzzle chess and do some casual puzzling with the Happy Valley Puzzle Swap at 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 22, in the back parking lot of the Benner Pike Walmart, where the RVs park.
Participants in the swap are asked to bag the pieces and/or tape the box, as well as label the puzzles with missing pieces or heavy smells/smoke.
Centre Community Resource Fair — Sunday, June 22
The Centre Community Resource Fair will be from 2 to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 22, at the Boalsburg Fire Hall.
At the event, guests will be able to learn about the resources available in the community, volunteer opportunities and connect.
The event is free and there will be snacks and activities for children.
South Hills 2025 Summer Concert Series — Sunday, June 22
The South Hills School of Business and Technology is hosting its 36th annual Summer Music Picnic Series, with the Sultanz of Swing at 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 22, on the North Lawn of the school in State College.
Music begins at 6 p.m. and guests are asked to bring their picnic dinner, drinks, chairs and blankets to enjoy music on the lawn. Lemonade will be available for a dollar a glass.
Sunday Funday — Sunday, June 22
Smith + Front is teaming up with Brass 16823 for its 2025 Sunday Funday series from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 22, in the parking lot of Titan Energy Park in Bellefonte.
The event will feature a pop-up market, food trucks, live music and more.
Summer Sounds from the Gazebo — Sunday, June 22
Summer Sounds from the Gazebo will feature the Lindy Sisters, a retrospective 1940s trio, at 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 22, at Talleyrand Park in Bellefonte.
The concert series began in 1981, bringing free mini-concerts to local residents from June through August.
Guests are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets for sitting.
Nittany Baptist Church Children’s Program — Wednesday, June 25
Nittany Baptist Church will have its AWANA program for kids in grades kindergarten through sixth at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, at the church in State College.
The program is designed to build a spiritual foundation in children to help them navigate life using the nationally recognized AWANA program. The program will be in building two. For more information, call 814-360-7157.
Live After 5 — Wednesday, June 25
The first Live After 5 event will feature music from Chris Welker and Briggs and Strayer from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., in the MLK Plaza downtown State College on Wednesday, June 25.
The weekly summer concert series runs from June through August.
SCASD Support Staff Job Fair — Thursday, June 26
The State College Area School District Support Staff Job Fair will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, at the Panorama Village Administrative Center in State College.
At the fair, participants will be introduced to administrators and have opportunities to ask questions about open positions such as paraprofessionals, bus drivers, custodians, substitute teachers and more.

There will be a Red Cross Blood Drive from noon to 5:30 p.m. on Monday, June 30, at Watermarke Church in Bellefonte.
