Pleasant Gap Lioness Club Annual Yard Sale — Thursday, June 26 through Saturday, June 28
The Pleasant Gap Lioness Club is holding its Annual Yard Sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 26 and Friday, June 27 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, at the Pavilion behind the Pleasant Gap American Legion.
Most of the items are not priced and instead, the buyers make a fair donation of their choosing. All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.
Friday Concert on the Village Green — Friday, June 27
The Nittany Valley Wranglers will perform the Friday Concert on the Village Green from 7:30 to 9 p.m. on Friday, June 20, at the Lemont Village Green in Lemont.
Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair for sitting and are welcome to bring a picnic.
Ice cream cones will be served by Scout Troop 367 with a contribution to the troop for projects.
Harvest Tasting — Friday, June 27
There will be a Harvest Tasting from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, June 27, at the Arboretum at Penn State in State College.
Guests are invited to come out and explore the flavors of the growing season with a taste of fresh produce grown in the beds of the children’s garden.
Sips & Sounds Downtown — Friday, June 27
Sips & Sounds Downtown will be at 4 p.m. on Friday, June 27, in the Sidney Friedman Park in State College.
Guests are invited to the outdoor food and music festival with upbeat tunes from local musicians, cold drinks from the Central PA Tasting Trail’s craft beverage producers and fresh food from local vendors.
Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket for sitting in the grass.
Milesburg Community Forum — Sunday, June 29
Central PA United is hosting the Milesburg Community Forum from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 29, at the Milesburg Community Center.
Local volunteer organizations and county and state elected officials will be in attendance and the event aims to embolden civic engagement and move the community forward.
The event will kick off with a social from 3:30 to 4 p.m. and the community is invited to provide feedback and insight, feel welcome and heard and learn more about the community.
Print Factory Writing Group — Sunday, June 29
The Print Factory Writing Group will meet at 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 29, at the Print Factory in Bellefonte.
The new writing group is aimed at connecting and supporting local writers. Everyone is welcome to bring a project they’re working on or a book they’d like to read.
Sunday Funday — Sunday, June 29
Smith + Front is teaming up with Brass 16823 for its 2025 Sunday Funday series from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 29, in the parking lot of Titan Energy Park in Bellefonte.
The event will feature a pop-up market, food trucks, live music and more.
Summer Sounds from the Gazebo — Sunday, June 29
Summer Sounds from the Gazebo will feature the Lindy Sisters, a retrospective 1940s trio, at 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 29, at Talleyrand Park in Bellefonte.
The concert series began in 1981, bringing free mini-concerts to residents from June through August.
Guests are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets for sitting.
South Hills 2025 Summer Concert Series — Sunday, June 29
The South Hills School of Business and Technology is hosting its 36th annual Summer Music Picnic Series, with the Tussey Mountain Moonshiners at 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 29, on the North Lawn of the school in State College.
Music begins at 6 p.m. and guests are asked to bring their picnic dinner, drinks, chairs and blankets to enjoy music on the lawn. Lemonade will be available for a dollar a glass.
State College Deutsch Club — Monday, June 30
The State College Deutsch Club will host its free German conversation group at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, June 30, in the Community Room of Schlow Centre Region Library.
The club meets twice a month, with half of the meetings surrounding a themed conversation.

Central PA Civil War Round Table — Tuesday, July 1
The Central PA Civil War Round Table will meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, in the Activities Room of the South Hills School of Business in State College.
Cory Pfarr of the Department of Defense will present “To Make a Demonstration, to the Letter: Seven Distinct Maps of Longstreet’s Gettysburg Performance.”

Live After 5 — Wednesday, July 2
The first Live After 5 event will feature music from Chris Welker and Briggs and Strayer from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., in the MLK Plaza downtown State College on Wednesday, July 2.
The weekly summer concert series runs from June through August.
Nittany Baptist Church Children’s Program — Wednesday, July 2
Nittany Baptist Church will have its AWANA program for kids in grades kindergarten through sixth at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, at the church in State College.
