BELLEFONTE — Geisinger’s new facility in Bellefonte is now offering walk-in services for medical needs.

The Geisinger Bellefonte ConvenientCare walk-in clinic opened on Monday, March 10, at the new location, 226 Buckaroo Lane. The clinic has six exam rooms with three practitioners available to treat various non-life-threatening medical issues.

Other than on major holidays, the ConvenientCare clinic will be open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

ConvenientCare clinics are a quick option for care, providing treatments for simple illnesses, allergies, cuts needing stitches, insect bites, tick removal, infections, rashes and sprains and strains.

“They’re ideal for anyone who can’t wait to see a primary care physician or who isn’t ill or injured enough to visit an emergency room,” A press release from Geisinger outlined. “The clinic also offers physicals and immunizations.”

To reserve a spot and view wait times at the clinic, patients can visit geisinger.org/urgentcare.

The $15 million Geisinger Bellefonte location relocated to Buckaroo Lane in November 2024 to bring the organization’s urgent care and primary care to one facility. Located behind the Weis Markets Plaza, the 23,000 square foot building has been offering imaging, primary care and lab services since opening.
