STATE COLLEGE — If your stomach’s been craving an adventure, clear your calendar, because Happy Valley Restaurant Week is rolling back into town from Friday, June 13 to Sunday, June 22, and it’s bringing a full spread of flavor, creativity and local pride.

For 10 glorious days, some of Centre County’s best kitchens will be turning up the heat with limited-time menus, super specials and dishes you won’t find any other week of the year.

From upscale bites to greasy spoon greatness, this is a golden opportunity to explore the culinary soul of Happy Valley one plate at a time.

“We’re proud to shine a spotlight on the incredible food and talent we have right here in Happy Valley,” Maggie Anderson said in a news release. “Whether you’re a longtime local or just passing through for summer fun, this is a perfect chance to try something new and support the local dining community.”

The lineup? Absolutely stacked.

Restaurants already on board include Allen Street Grill, Alloy Kitchen at Titan Hollow, The Blonde Bistro, Flour and Stone, The Naked Egg Café, RE Farm Café at Windswept Farm and more. Whether you’re craving farm-to-table freshness, a perfect smash burger or a buttery croissant baked just right, this week’s got something for every craving.

Even better, new this year is the Pepsi Zero Sugar Cocktail Challenge. Participating restaurants will be shaking up mocktails and cocktails using Pepsi’s zero-calorie formula, and diners will get to vote on their favorites. The winning drink earns the restaurant a sweet prize package.

And yes, there’s more. Diners who fill out a participation card (online or in person) will be entered to win a grandprizesportspackage, including four tickets to both the Altoona Curve and the State College Spikes.

Happy Valley Restaurant Week is powered by the Happy Valley Adventure Bureau, which helps provide free professional marketing support to all participating restaurants. It’s about building buzz, but more importantly, it’s about celebrating the people behind the line, the ingredients grown just down the road and the magic that happens when community meets cuisine.

Whether you’re a devout foodie or just hungry for something different, this week is your excuse to indulge. Just make your reservations early because tables will fill up fast.
