Self-led Egg Hunt at Bald Eagle State Park

A self-led egg hunt will be held at Bald Eagle State Park main park area, 149 Main Park Road, Howard from March 27 to April 6. There will be 10 Easter eggs “hidden” all over the main park area — can you find them all? Eggs will be hidden by noon on March 27 and taken down on April 6. The egg hunt will be a mix of driving and walking, where some can be seen from Main Park Road, some will be hidden in the launches, and some will be hidden at high interest areas in the park. Eggs will not be more than 0.25 walk from a parking lot/road. This event is free, great for all ages, with no registration required.

Mount Nittany UMC Egg Hunt and Breakfast

The community is invited for a family breakfast, craft, and egg hunt on March 28 at Mount Nittany United Methodist Church, 1500 E. Branch Road, State College. Breakfast begins at 9 a.m. followed by pictures with the Easter Bunny. A craft for the whole family and age level egg hunts follow.  

Greater Buffalo Run Valley UMC Egg Hunt

A community egg hunt will be held at the Greater Buffalo Run Valley United Methodist Church, 102 Trinity Court (Church) and 112 Trinity Court (Annex) in Bellefonte at 1 p.m. All children are welcome, and bags will be provided. Candy, small toys, and goody bags. The hunt will be held outside on the lawn, weather permitting. In case of rain, the hunt will be held inside the church. Underwater Egg Hunt

A family-friendly swim event will be held on from noon to 3:45 p.m. at YMCA Centre County. Heats are open for children 6 months through 12 years. Ages 6 & under: Therapy Pool Ages 7 & up: Rec Pool Under 3: Parent or related adult must be in the water Ages 3+: Adult may join in the water Non-swimmers: Adult within arm’s reach or a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life vest (provided as needed) This is a free event, but space is limited. Glow-in-the-Dark Easter Egg Hunt

Families are invited to Freedom Life Church’s Glow-in-the-Dark Egg Hunt at Bald Eagle Area High School, 751 S. Eagle Valley Rd., Bellefonte. This free community event promises an exciting evening filled with family fun, culminating in a one-of-a-kind nighttime egg hunt experience. The event begins at 6 p.m. with a wide variety of free family activities, including inflatables, face painting, tattoo artists, games, concessions, a photo booth, and a petting zoo. At 8 p.m., the main event begins as the stadium lights go out and the football field transforms into a glowing spectacle for a larger-than-life glow-in-the-dark egg and candy scramble, complete with opportunities for children to win big prizes. The event is designed for children 5th grade and younger. In the event of inclement weather, the rain date is scheduled for Saturday, April 4.

Panhellenic + IFC Egg Hunt

An egg hunt for State College families will be held from noon to 2 p.m. at the Millennium Sciences Lawn at Penn State University. Eggs will be filled with safe, age-appropriate toys and treats. There will also be a festive craft table as well as a bunny you can take pictures with! Complimentary coffee and treats for adults. The first egg hunt for children ages 5 and under will begin at 12:30 p.m., and the second egg hunt for children ages 6–12 will begin at 1:30 p.m. Parking is available in the surrounding decks, Eisenhower Parking Deck and the HUB Parking Deck. Bring your own bag or basket for egg collection. RSVP by March 25 with the number of children you expect to bring. This is a free event. Toiletries and canned foods the campus food bank, lion’s pantry will be collected. In-demand items include body soap , toothpaste , toothbrush , toilet paper and canned items like chicken, tuna, chickpeas, and black beans. Teen Flashlight Egg Hunt

An after-dark egg hunt will be held at Millbrook Marsh Nature Center from 8 to 9:30 p.m. to find hidden treasures in the dark. Hunt for eggs filled with candy and prizes from local businesses. Wingate Faith Church Easter Egg Hunt

Wingate Faith Church, 111 Runville Rd., Bellefonte, located behind Wingate Sheetz, will host itsannual Easter Egg Hunt at 11 a.m. for children who are toddlers through grade 5. Great prizes.

Stoneybottom Easter Egg Hunt

Stoneybottom Celebration Venue, 1979 Reese Hollow Rd., Port Matilda, is hosting a free community Easter Egg Hunt starting at noon for children up to age 12. Egg hunt areas will be specific to age groups, including an ADA area, ensuring equal access for everyone. Easter Bunny will be present for photos. Volunteers are welcome including students seeking community service hours to stuff eggs, organize prizes and help at the event.

Fairbrook UMC Easter Egg Hunt

An Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 1 p.m. at Fairbrook UMC, 4201 W. Whitehall Road, Pennsylvania Furnace. Bring baskets or bags. Rain or shine. Dress appropriately. Followed with some family activities.

Bellefonte Easter Egg Hunt

Bellefonte Easter Egg Hunt will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at Talleyrand Park. Easter Bunny will arrive at 1 p.m. and the egg hunt begins at 2 p.m. There will be 15,000 candy-filled eggs hidden throughout the park. The event is free to all children 12 and under, with designated age groups and a special needs area to ensure everyone can participate. Hidden among the eggs are extra-special prize coupons, which can be redeemed at the Bunny Shack for Easter baskets, a bicycle, and other surprises.
