IHS Wishing Well campaign underway

no description

STATE COLLEGE — Interfaith Human Services will once again be conducting its Wishing Well campaign to aid in their work with low-income individuals and families in Centre County.

The campaign begins Nov. 25 and continues through Dec. 23. The physical well will be at Meyer Dairy and is sponsored by First National Bank. This location will have a well where people can place cash donations in the bucket or scan a code to donate electronically without touching anything.

The second wishing well, presented by Liz Piazza of Kissinger Bigatel & Brower Realtors, will be online on Interfaith’s webpage. Those wishing to support the campaign without leaving their homes can visit the following website and click on the well: interfaithhumanservices.org/wishing-well/.

This year, the board of directors has committed to matching the first $5,575 of donations made via the virtual well or mailed to: HIS, 251 Easterly Parkway, Suite 200, State College PA, 16801.

Interfaith Human Services has continued to serve its clients throughout the pandemic. For more information about how IHS helps Centre County and about its new emergency vehicle repair program, visit interfaithhumanservices.org/how-we-help .

Last year the Wishing Well campaign raised more than $44,000.
