The Eagles (4-1-1) split their other two games, routing Chestnut Ridge, 7-1, at home on Sept. 10 and losing at Westmont Hilltop, 6-0, on Sept. 8.

BEA goalkeeper Tanner Pearce made six saves.
“The boys played a really tough and physical game,” BEA coach Jason Bair said. “(They had a) no quit attitude. We still have lots of things to improve on, but we’re getting a little better each and every game. That is the goal.”
Against the WolfPack at Alumni Stadium, Paul Hacker scored two goals, including a late first-half goal on a boot from the outside. Hacker scored again on a header into the net after a corner kick from Dubbs at 70:30 mark.
Kyle Uberti scored the third goal at 76:45 following an assist from Braxton Henninger. Pearce made four saves.
“This is one of our better complete team games that we played,” Bair said. “I’m proud of the defense for keeping a shutout. They played well and it was a good job by the midfield and strikers today.”
Dubbs scored three goals and assisted on a Hacker goal against Chestnut Ridge for a hat trick. Uberti scored a goal, with the assist going to Parsons. Easton Grimes booted in a goal, as did Kovalev. Pearce made one save.

That is high school sports when guys are not use to each other things happen. We regrouped and then the offense took off for us.”

The Lady Hilltoppers didn’t score until the 79:40 mark. BEA goalkeeper Cami Walker only faced two other shots on goal.
“The girls played a great game of soccer tonight all the way around,” BEA coach Jared Moore said. “The defense was solid, led by Lilly Johnson. They repelled many Westmont drives and kept the ball away from our goal. On offense our midfield controlled most of the pace of the game and connected well.
“Natalie Michaels fed Savanna Albright a great through ball, and she chipped the keeper brilliantly for a nice finish. Nola Briscoe picked off a pass later in the half and hit one from range that was just a real pretty shot. Overall, I am really pleased at our bounce back game today.”
