When my wife said that she wanted to see the movie The Odyssey, I replied that we had to see it in an Imax theater. It was filmed for such a theater, why dimmish the experience and see it in a regular venue?
We chose the Imax theater in Lititz in Lancaster County, a 2.5 hour drive. My suggestion that we could make it a day trip was overruled and so we arrived in time for a matinee after which we checked into our hotel followed by dinner at an Italian restaurant. It was a very expensive experience.
Perhaps the movie theater powers in Centre County might consider adding an Imax venue. The complex in Lititz comes with an attached restaurant, which enabled us to have a quick lunch before the movie. There’s room for an Imax complex next to the theater on Premiere Drive.
If you build it, we will come.
