SPRING MILLS — The Penns Valley Conservation Association is inviting community members and whiskey enthusiasts to kick off the festive season with a unique holiday experience.
Celebrated local whiskey writer, author, and podcaster Lew Bryson will lead an engaging presentation and book signing on Sunday, Dec. 7, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the magnificent Brush Mountain Lodge in Spring Mills.
Lining up to be “The Best Holiday Event of the Season,” this special afternoon will feature Bryson sharing compelling stories and expert insights drawn from his new release, American Whiskey Master Class: The Ultimate Guide to Understanding Bourbon, Rye, and other American Whiskeys.
This one-of-a-kind experience doubles as a vital fundraiser, with all proceeds benefiting PVCA’s important conservation and education programs in the Upper Penns Creek Watershed.
Attendees will enjoy an engaging afternoon featuring a catered selection of local foods, accompanied by complimentary whiskey tastings. The event highlights regional distilling excellence, with featured spirits provided by Dad’s Hat, Liberty Pole, and Stoll & Wolf. The stunning, timber-frame Brush Mountain Lodge provides an atmospheric and beautiful setting for the presentation.
Individual ticket purchase includes a signed copy of Lew’s new book, making the event an excellent and unique holiday gift opportunity. For a truly elevated experience, a limited VIP Session is available prior to the main event, offering an exclusive tasting of rare products from Lew’s personal collection held just before the main event from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m.
