STATE COLLEGE — While two children are plenty to keep a mom’s hands full, Hannah Morris has managed to strike the balance between raising her little ones while also being Happy Valley’s own personal “mom friend.”
Morris’s Instagram account, Happy Valley Hannah, where she shares local family-friendly events and uncovers special spots in Centre County currently has over 14,000 followers. And now, she is expanding her business with the launch of her new lifestyle brand, The Happiest Valley.
“I’ve had a blast over the past year sharing my love for Happy Valley on social media, but all along I’ve wanted to create something bigger,” Morris said. “I really wanted to capture the essence of ‘the happiest’ that exists in our community. It’s the mix of people, the young energy, the forever-learning mentality and the strong community that is The Happiest Valley.”
For Morris, her social media journey led her to launch the new brand.
“I’ve always felt there was something unique about this place that I wasn’t able to put into words. It wasn’t until I was creating voice-over for an Instagram reel that I made the connection,” Morris shared.
The brand launched with a beanie, crew neck and ball-cap that featuring the phrase “The Happiest Valley.” Morris noted that she plans to expand the line in the spring and summer. From the brand name to the phrase on the clothing, Morris’s goal is to encapsulate what makes Happy Valley so special.
“It occurred to me that The Happiest Valley as a lifestyle brand is something people could really connect with and get behind. It’s a culture of kindness, inclusivity, pride and success that so many of us here are embracing,” Morris shared about the process of launching The Happiest Valley.
Those looking to embrace The Happiest Valley mentality and join in Morris’s movement to highlight what the community offers can view the line at thehappiestvalley.com.
“Happy Valley is just a place on the map, but it’s the people who live here who have and continue to create the happiest state of mind,” Morris said, sharing more about why she loves the area and people in it so much. “Neighbors are always willing to help out, teachers are so kind, the Penn State students have a great energy, the local community is so supportive of our small businesses, our medical professionals are wonderful, the list could go on.”
