While assisting CYS with a home visit on Market Street in Milesburg on March 5, police said they found indicators of physical injury. Joshua Bush was accused of simple assault and arraigned before Judge Kelley Gillette-Walker. Bail was set at $75,000.

A 41-year-old Spring Mills man is being investigated by police for harassment after an argument over the phone with a Spring Mills woman March 6.

Police report that they charged Mark Bohn, of Howard, with theft after he allegedly stole a revolver from a bedroom on Hogan Lane, Howard, on March 6.

Police said they are looking for two men approximately 30 years old who were trespassing near a shed at 157 W. Main St., Millheim, at 8:45 p.m. March 8. A juvenile male noticed the men and confronted them and a physical altercation occurred. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Rockview.

A 20-year-old man was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop at East Wilson Street, Centre Hall, on March 10. Charges are pending.

Police cited Jeffery Bickle, of Bellefonte, with scattering rubbish after individuals saw him in his truck throwing empty Miller Lite cans along Nilson Road in Walker Township on March 10, police said.

Police took Thomas Bowes, of Howard, into custody March 12 after he allegedly was observed attempting to remove Dewalt batteries and a battery charger from a patio on 428 Walnut St., Howard. Police said that when Bowes was confronted by the victim, he attempted to flee, but the victim caught and subdued Bowes until police arrived. Police charged Bowes with theft and criminal trespassing.

A 20-year-old Philipsburg man is being investigated by police for alleged harassment Jan. 25. The investigation is ongoing.

Police said they took a 47-year-old man into custody Feb. 6 after he violated a PFA on Loch Lomond Road in Rush Township.

Police investigated an alleged PFA violation by a 45-year-old man on North Seventh Street, Philipsburg, on Feb. 22.

A 24-year-old Kylertown man has been charged with criminal mischief after police said he used his vehicle to cause damage to a lawn ornament on the 400 block of State Street, Rush Township, on Feb.25.

On March 6, police pulled over a 39-year-old Port Matilda man on the 220 block of Halfmoon Valley Road, Halfmoon Township, for a stop-sign violation. After a probable cause search, police said they found a small amount of marijuana and a glass pipe. Charges are to be filed in District Court 4-2-01.

Polce responded after Samual Shawver, of Julian, crashed a 1996 BMW 318 T1 on Black Moshannon Road, Rush Township. Police said Shawver lost control of his vehicle while negotiating a curve and struck an embankment, causing the vehicle to roll over and land on its roof. No injuries occurred. Shawver was cited with driving on roadways not laned for traffic.

After a traffic stop on State Road 322 in Rush Township, police said they found Zachary Brantner to be in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia March 11. Charges were filed.
