Police investigated an incident of aggravated harassment at SCI Benner on Aug. 6 when a 29-year-old inmate assaulted two employees after he was told he receiving misconduct violations.

Police are investigating an incident in Rush Township where a victim purchased a cat online and sent payment for it on Aug. 8, but never received the cat. The investigation is ongoing.

A State College man was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI after he was involved in a one-vehicle crash on state Route 144 in Boggs Township on Aug. 18. He was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center for a legal blood draw. The investigation is ongoing.

A 56-year-old Millheim woman and a 47-year-old Stewartown man were cited for harassment Aug. 25 after they were involved in a domestic physical altercation on Coburn Road in Penn Township, according to police.

Police are looking for a suspect after an unknown actor entered a home on Mudlick Road in Huston Township between Aug. 28 and 31 and removed a Smith and Wesson .38 Special. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

Police found a 20-year-old woman from Hazleton to allegedly be in possession of marijuana oils after she entered a checkpoint being performed by members of SCI Benner on Sept. 14.

Police are looking for a driver who crashed into a wooden fence post and entered a field on Sinking Creek Road where it intersects with Egg Hill Road in Potter Township on Sept. 15 at 11:30 p.m. The driver backed up into a tree after entering the field and fled the crash scene traveling westbound on Sinking Creek Road. Multiple vehicle pieces were found that indicated that the vehicle is likely a black 2006 or 2007 Saturn Vue. The vehicle will likely have damage to the 12 o’clock and 7 o’clock position.
