After several investigations into alleged theft and receiving stolen property, police said they have recovered numerous items alleged to have been stolen by Thomas Lee Bowes, 36, of Howard, over the past three years. Items recovered include extension cords, Christmas decorations, hand tools, power tools, bicycles, hunting or target bows, lawn mowers and garden-type implements such as shovels. Anyone who may believe their property may be among the recovered property is asked to contact Cpl. Hilderbrand at (814) 355-7545.

A harassment incident was investigated by police on Ferds Road and Lucas Ridge Road, Lot 40, in Snow Shoe Township, sometime between Oct. 1 and Jan. 12.

Police responded to an incident at the Meadows behavioral health center in Potter Township on Nov. 30 in which they say Daniel Lee Slaughter, 46, of Harrisburg, became friendly with a female at the facility and allegedly inappropriately touched her several times after being told to stop.

An inmate was found to be in possession of alleged drugs at SCI Rockview after a cell search on Dec. 13, said police. The investigation is ongoing.

After responding to an incident at a home on Mill Street in Rush Township on Jan. 5, a stolen ATV was identified on the property and police said they charged Jeffrey Clark, 44, of Munson, with receiving stolen property and criminal mischief. The ATV was returned to the victim.

Police said that a male suspect was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and a light that appeared to be just removed from a projection light on North 9th Street in Philipsburg. The investigation continues to determine if the light was in fact stolen. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

Police cited Kayla Johnston, 29, of Curwensville, with harassment by threatening physical contact after she allegedly sent a Julian woman multiple messages on Facebook threatening to harm her on Jan. 15.

On Jan. 18 police cited Michelle McCloskey, 48, of Philipsburg, with harassment for allegedly annoying and alarming a victim on North Centre Street in Philipsburg.

Police are investigating an alleged assault of a 47-old-woman at the Meadows behavioral health center in Potter Township on Jan. 20.
