UNIVERSITY PARK — Jennifer Pharr Davis, who is an internationally known long-distance hiker, award-winning author, speaker, and entrepreneur, will be speaking at HUB-Robeson Center Flex Theater on Tuesday, Oct. 14 from 7 to 8 p.m.

In 2011, Davis set the overall fastest known time on the Appalachian Trail, completing the 2,185-mile journey in just 46 days. She has covered 14,000 miles of trails, was named National Geographic’s Adventurer of the Year, and received the Governor of North Carolina’s Laurel Wreath Award.
