Mother’s Day Craft Show — Saturday, May 10

There will be a Mother’s Day Craft Show starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, at Way Fruit Farm in Port Matilda.

The craft market will feature more than 35 vendors and there will be live music from Honey Pie. There will also be treats available to purchase from Pappy’s Popcorn, Ice House Café, Sips and Giggles, Dubbs Grub and Hearth and Harvest.

A rain date is set for Saturday, May 17.

Mother’s Day Tea and Tour — Saturday, May 10

The Boal Manson will be open for a Mother’s Day Tea and Tour at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, at the Boal Mansion Museum in Boalsburg.

There will be live music, unique tea and treats before guests are taken on a special tour through the Boal Mansion and Columbus Chapel. The event is $50 per person and includes tea in the ballroom and the museum tour.

Mother’s Day Brunch — Sunday, May 11

American Legion Post 245 is hosting a Mother’s Day Brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 11, at the American Legion in State College.

The event is cash only and adults can eat for $15 and kids for $7.50.

The brunch menu includes stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, pancakes, cheesy scrambled eggs, sausage, muffins, hashbrowns, fruit and beverages.

Drop-in Guided Tour: A Nouveau Day for Mothers — Sunday, May 11

The Palmer Museum of Art is hosting a special guided tour for Mother’s Day at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 11, at the art museum in State College.

With the theme “A Nouveau Day for Mothers,” guests are invited to join the drop-in tour as a friendly and knowledgeable museum guide leads them through the exhibits.

State College Municipal Band Mother’s Day Concert — Sunday, May 11

The State College Municipal Band will present the annual Mother’s Day Concert for the final indoor concert on the season at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 11, at Mount Nittany Middle School in State College.

This year’s Mother’s Day Concert is themed “Musical Adjectives of Motherhood,” as the joys, the quirks, the craziness and the celebrations of motherhood with be expressed through music.

The event is free and open to the public, however, donations will be graciously accepted.

Mother’s Day Music by Mountain City Acoustic Trio — Sunday, May 11

Seven Mountains Wine Cellar is hosting a Mother’s Day event with music and fun from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 11, at the winery in Spring Mills.

In addition to the live music, there will be crafts, sweet treats from Handmade by Brooke and permanent jewelry from JM Beauty Bar.
