STATE COLLEGE — Mount Nittany Health will host its annual Community Day, a free, family-friendly event on Saturday, May 2 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mount Nittany Health Toftrees, 164 Greenview Dr., State College.
The event will be filled with fun, interactive activities and hands-on learning experiences that bring health and wellness to life. From engaging games to educational opportunities, Community Day offers something for all ages.
Highlights of the day include:
- Plush toy clinic. Each child will receive a plush dog to take through a friendly check-up with a Mount Nittany Health provider.
- Touch-a-Truck experience.
- Garden rock painting.
- Certified volunteer therapy dogs.
- Car seat safety checks.
- Jared Box Project activity.
- Orthopedics obstacle course.
- Face painting.
- Caricature artist.
- Healthy snack spinning wheel.
Last year’s event drew more than 500 attendees, including over 200 children.
