STATE COLLEGE — CNB Bank opened their first Smart Banking Center with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, May 21. The new bank is located at 1524 W. College Ave. and aims to make financial transactions and information gathering easier for its clients, according to a press release.
The new office has a Smart station which uses an interactive video to perform different banking transactions, like making deposits or withdrawals, making loan payments or paying off loans, cashing checks or checking on account balances.
The Smart center has a wireless cafe-style lobby, open transaction areas, digital displays, cash recyclers, a coin counter and a coffee station.
The Smart station, in addition to bankers, is available from 7 a.m.to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
“We are thrilled to open our first full-service Smart Center and bring our personalized community
banking approach to State College,” said Dustin Minarchick, CNB Bank regional president. “This state-of-the-art facility will provide clients with personalized service and innovative banking solutions.”
During the ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new banking center, CNB Bank donated $1,000 to Centre County United Way, an organization that aims to “improve lives by prioritizing needs and mobilizing human and financial resources to positively impact the education, financial stability, and physical and emotional health of our neighbors,” and $1,000 to State College Little League, in an effort to support the State College community.
