UNIVERSITY PARK — The Third Annual Pennsylvania Collegiate Leadership Conference, hosted by the Penn State College Republicans, concluded Jan. 17.
Sponsored by Turning Point Action, the Pennsylvania Federation of College Republicans, and the University Park Allocation Committee, this conference is an initiative of the Penn State College Republicans designed to introduce collegiate leaders to the conservative principles of American government.
Over the course of two days, PCLC hosted speakers, including but not limited to U.S. Congressman Glenn “GT” Thompson, R-Bellefonte; Pennsylvania Treasurer and Gubernatorial Candidate Stacy Garrity, College Republicans of America Chairman Will Donahue, and Will Versaw of Turning Point Action. Attendees were able to hear discussions on building the youth movement, growth across the Keystone State, the Penn State GOP’s THON efforts, recent events in Venezuela, and how immigration is impacting the United States.
With students from dozens of CR chapters across six states joining the event in State College, PCLC III was the largest and most widely attended in the history of the conference.
Penn State GOP will be hosting the conference again next year and hopes that those who missed this year’s event will attend the next PCLC in 2027.
