The state Dept. of Transportation announced the following schedule of maintenance activities in Centre County the week of July 27. PennDOT performs year-round maintenance in its mission to provide a safe, efficient transportation system, and the scope of work in Centre County for the coming week is as follows:
Pipe Replacement & Cleaning
- Route 350 between Miller Road and Sleepy Hollow Road in Rush Township through Friday, July 31.
- Route 550 between Route 3008 (Filmore Road) in Benner Township and Route 64 in Walker Township through Friday, July 31.
- All of Route 1003 (Curtin Road) in Boggs Township through Friday, July 31.
- All of Route 1006 (Water Street/Old 220) through Friday, July 31.
Shoulder Maintenance
- All of Route 3017 (Beckwith Road/High Street) through Friday, July 31.
- All of Route 3023 (Reese Hollow Road) in Worth Township through Friday, July 31
- Route 3040 (South Eagle Vally Road) between the Skytop Mountain Road interchange in Huston Township and Paradise Lane in Huston Township through Friday, July 31.
Side Dozing
- Interstate 99 (I-99) southbound between mile markers 55 and 74. Monday, July 27 Friday, July 31.
Vegetation Management
- I-99 between mile markers 55 and 85 through Friday, July 31.
- Route 322 eastbound and westbound between I-99 in College Township and the Centre-Mifflin County line in Potter Township through Friday, July 31.
