CENTRE COUNTY — The state Dept. of Transportation recebtkt announced the following schedule of maintenance activities in Centre County for the remainder of this week. PennDOT performs year-round maintenance in its mission to provide a safe, efficient transportation system, and the scope of work in Centre County for the coming week is as follows:
Crack Seal & Hot Pour Mastic
- Route 350 between the Blair-Centre County line and a bridge spanning Big Fill Run in Taylor Township through Friday, April 10.
Manual Patching
- Route 477 between the Centre-Clinton County line and the intersection with Hough Mountain Trail in Miles Township through Friday, April 10.
Pipe Replacing & Cleaning
- Route 144 between Forge Road in Spring Township and Front Street in Milesburg Borough through Friday, April 10.
Side Dozing
- Route 3040 (South Eagle Valley Road/Union Street/Plank Road) between the Blair-Centre County line in Taylor Township and Reese Hollow Road in Worth Township through Friday, April 10.
- Route 3042 (Skytop Mountain Road/Laural Run Road/High Street) between the junction with Route 322 in Worth Township and the intersection of Route 220 in Port Matilda Borough through Friday, April 10.
Sweeping
- All of Route 26 in Centre County through Friday, April 10. PennDOT will implement single-lane closures between midnight and noon daily while this work is completed.
- Interstate 99 between mile markers 55 and 85 through Friday, April 10. PennDOT will implement single-lane closures between noon and midnight daily while this work is completed.
- Route 322 westbound between the Centre-Mifflin County line and the Potters Mills exit through Friday, April 10. PennDOT will implement single-lane closures between midnight and noon daily while this work is completed.
- Route 322 eastbound between the Centre-Clearfield County line at a bridge spanning Moshannon Creek in Rush Township and Interstate 99. PennDOT will implement single-lane closures between the hours of noon and midnight daily while this work is completed.
- Route 3007 (Park Avenue) between Route 322 in State College Borough and I-99. PennDOT shadow vehicles will be in the roadway for this continuously moving operation between the hours of midnight and noon.
This schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, emergencies, or other unforeseen interruptions.
