CENTRE COUNTY — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced the following schedule of maintenance activities in Centre County the week of April 20. PennDOT performs year-round maintenance in its mission to provide a safe, efficient transportation system, and the scope of work in Centre County for the coming week is as follows:
Joint & Crack Sealing (Hot Pour Mastic)
- Route 350 starting at Presqueisle Street in Philipsburg Borough and continuing southbound approximately 12.5 miles to the Blair-Centre County line in Taylor Township through Friday, April 24.
- Route 550 starting at the Centre-Huntingdon County line in Halfmoon Township and continuing northbound approximately 15 miles to Fillmore Road in Benner Township through Friday, April 24.
Line Painting
- Route 26 between Route 64 and the Interstate 99 (I-99) southbound interchange toward State College in Spring Township through Friday, April 24.
Mechanized Patching
- All of Route 477 in Miles Township through Friday, April 24.
Pipe Replacement & Cleaning
- Route 150 between Route 144 in Boggs Township and the Beech Creek Veterans Memorial Bridge spanning Beech Creek at the Centre-Clinton County line in Liberty Township through Friday, April 20.
Side Dozing
- I-99 northbound and southbound between mile markers 56 and 73 through Friday, April 24. PennDOT will implement single-lane closures while this work is completed.
