CENTRE COUNTY — The state Dept. of Transportation recently announced the following schedule of maintenance activities in Centre County the week of Aug. 3. PennDOT performs year-round maintenance in its mission to provide a safe, efficient transportation system, and the scope of work in Centre County for the coming week is as follows:
Pipe Replacement & Cleaning
- All of Route 1004 (Hunter Run Road) in Liberty Township through Friday, Aug. 7.
- Route 3008 (Purdue Mountain Road) between Kline Road in Patton Township and Armagast Road in Benner Township through Friday, Aug. 7.
- Route 3019 (Mudlick Road) between Silverdale Road and Jack Straw Road in Huston Township through Friday, Aug. 7.
- Route 3021 (Steele Hollow Road) between Route 220 and East Mountain Road in Huston Township through Friday, Aug. 7.
- All of Route 3030 (Dix Run Road) through Friday, Aug. 7.
Shoulder Maintenance
- Route 550 between the Centre-Huntingdon County line in Halfmoon Township and Fillmore Road in Benner Township through Friday, Aug. 7.
- All of Route 3028 (Stevenson Road) in Patton Township through Friday, Aug. 7.
Side Dozing
- All of Route 64 through Friday, Aug. 7.
- Interstate 99 (I-99) between mile markers 55 and 73 through Friday, Aug. 7.
Vegetation Management
- Interstate 80 (I-80) between mile markers 138 and 170 through Friday, Aug. 7.
