Police responded to a single vehicle crash that occurred on Aug. 10 at approximately 8 a.m. on U.S. Route 322 west off ramp to SR 144 in Potter Township. According to police, Unit 1 was traveling too fast for wet conditions when it failed to negotiate the right curve of the off ramp. Police stated that Unit 1 then struck a curb, traveled over the curb and into the traffic island. Police said both Operator 1 and Passenger 1 opted to be transported to the hospital to be evaluated by Penns Valley EMS.
