Police investigation an incident of theft that occurred on May 28 at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Dogwood Drive in Rush Township. According to police, multiple pieces of jewelry, to include gold and diamond rings, necklaces and bangle bracelets, were stolen from an 84-year old victim at the Heritage Ridge Personal Care Home. Police said the approximate value of the items stolen is $30,000. Police conducted a traffic stop on May 23 at approximately 3 p.m. on I99 north in Benner Township. According to police, the driver was determined to be in possession of and under the influence of a controlled substance.
Police said the driver was taken into custody without further incident.

Police responded to a single vehicle crash that occurred on July 10 at approximately 6 p.m. on Brush Valley Road in Gregg Township. According to police, Unit 1 failed to negotiate the left curve in the roadway and hit an embankment.
Police said there were no injuries as a result of the crash.

Police responded to a single vehicle crash that occurred on July 28 at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Pine Creek Road in Haines Township. According to police, the crash occurred as Unit 1 went up an embankment, crossed the road and struck a tree. Police said minor injuries were sustained.
