Police initiated a traffic stop around 10 a.m. on Friday, March 1, along South Eagle Valley Road in Union Township. According to police, the suspect was stopped for traffic violations and was discovered to be under the influence of an undisclosed drug. The suspect was charged and the investigation is now closed.

Police responded to a vehicle crash around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, on I-80 West near mile marker 168.2 in Marion Township. According to police, two tractor trailers collided when one failed to observe stopped traffic from a construction site. No injuries were reported.
