STATE POLICE AT ROCKVIEW
State police responded to a crash on Friday, Feb. 28, around 5:30 p.m. on Interstate 99 traveling south near Patton Township.
According to police, a 29-year-old Bellefonte woman was driving a 2024 Kia Sportage under the influence and left her lane before hitting the guardrail and spinning out.
No injuries were reported.

State police responded to a crash on Friday, Feb. 28, around 4:30 a.m. on Jacksonville Road in Marion Township.
According to police, a 30-year-old Howard man struck a deer with his 2020 Chevrolet Bolt, causing disabling damage to the front of the car.
No injuries were reported.

According to police, when they arrived at Philipsburg-Osceola Area High School no criminal activity was observed.

State police responded to a drug possession incident on Thursday, Feb. 27, at 10 p.m. in College Township.
According to police, a 33-year-old Willingboro, New Jersey man was arrested after a traffic stop found the driver under the influence and in possession of illegal drugs.

State police responded to a theft claim on Monday, Feb. 3, at noon.
According to police, a 55-year-old Howard man lost $30,255.49 after an actor wrote a check to himself using the victim’s checking information.
The investigation is still ongoing.

State Police responded to a crash on March 7 at 2 p.m. on East Presqueisle Street in Philipsburg Borough.
According to police, while driving a 2022 Ford Transit 68-year-old Allport man hit a 21-year-old Philipsburg woman in a 2017 Dodge Charger while traveling northbound.
No injuries were reported, but the 2022 Ford Transit was towed from the scene with disabling damage.
