Police responded to a single vehicle crash that occurred on Dec. 2 at approximately 5:30 a.m. on I80 East around mile marker 118 in Snow Shoe Township. According to police, unit 1 lost control due to snow and icy conditions causing the unit to jack knife and get stuck in an embankment.

Police responded to a hit and run crash that occurred on Dec. 2 at approximately 9 p.m. on North Eagle Valley Road and Hunter Run Road in Liberty Township. According to police one person was arrested for DUI. Police stated the case is pending further court proceedings.

Police responded to a single unit crash that occurred on Nov. 27 at approximately 3 a.m. on Penns Valley Road in Gregg Township. According to police, the vehicle drove over a small embankment, negotiated into the air and then struck a utility pole. The driver of the vehicle attempted to flee the scene of the crash, but the vehicle became disabled. Police said the driver then fled on foot. The driver was found at the residence and found to be under the influence of alcohol. Police stated the driver was taken into custody without incident.

Police responded to a single vehicle crash that occurred on Dec. 10 at approximately 2:30 p.m. on I-99 North at mile marker 61 in Worth Township. According to police, the vehicle lost control and struck a guard rail, causing disabling damage.

Police responded to a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Dec. 14 at approximately 6 a.m. on Railroad Street near Hale Street in Philipsburg Borough. According to police, the crash occurred when unit 1 failed to maintain his own lane and crossed over into the center lane, sideswiping unit 2.

Police responded to a single vehicle crash that occurred on Dec. 12 at approximately 9:30 a.m. on I-99 North in Patton Township. According to police, the vehicle lost control and left the right side of the roadway causing it to overturn. Police stated the operator appeared to have minor injuries.
