Police responded to a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Feb. 26 at approximately 10:30 a.m. on South Eagle Valley Road in Boggs Township. According to police, Unit 1 was struck by Unit 2 on the passenger side, causing Unit 2 to overturn. Police stated Unit 2 leaked approximately 1000 gallons of home heating oil in addition to diesel fuel onto the roadway and surrounding area. Police said both operators were transported to Williamsport Hospital via life flight.

Police responded to a single vehicle crash that occurred on Feb. 27 at approximately 4 a.m. on Sand Ridge Road in Marion Township. According to police, the crash occurred as Unit 1 was traveling south on Sand Ridge Road when the vehicle struck a tree. Police stated no injuries occurred as a result of the crash.

Police responded to a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Feb. 23 at approximately 6 p.m. on South Eagle Valley Road in Union Township. According to police, Unit 1 was traveling too fast for conditions when it lost control and left the roadway striking an embankment and rolling over. Police stated that during the crash, Unit 1 struck Unit 2 in the 6 o’clock position. Police said there were no injuries as a result of the crash.
