Police responded to a request to assist EMS on May 4 at approximately 5 p.m. on Brush Valley Road in Miles Township. According to police, upon arrival it was determined a child was injured because of a farming accident involving a horse-drawn planter. Police stated the child was transported via helicopter to Geisinger Hospital in Danville. Police said the case continues pending further investigation.

Police responded to a single vehicle accident that occurred on April 20 at approximately 4:30 p.m. on SR 144 in Boggs Township. According to police, the crash occurred when the operator left the roadway and struck mailboxes and a concrete barrier before overturning. Police stated the operator was transported due to sustained injuries.

Police responded to a disabled vehicle on May 2 at approximately 7 p.m. on Port Matilda Highway and Laurel Acres Lane in Rush Township. According to police, upon arrival the operator was found to be DUI.

Police are investigating a simple trespass that occurred on May 8 at approximately 7:30 p.m. on 2877 E. College Ave. in College Township. According to police, the incident happened at the Happy Valley Casino where an individual that was on the self-exclusion list attempted to gain entry onto the casino floor.
