The State College Police Department is looking for a man who was involved in an assault and theft at the Graduate Hotel on Oct. 28. SCPD is asking anyone with information about the crimes to contact them at (814) 234-7150.
The State College Police Department is investigating a case of theft that took place at Goodwill along the Benner Pike in State College.
According to police, a person took multiple items from the donation bins. The theft took place around 9 a.m. on Nov. 28. The suspect drove away in an older model Saturn.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact SCPD at (814) 234-7150.
State police were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash that took place along state Route 45 in Potter Township at 4:19 p.m. on Nov. 18.
According to police, a 2012 Nissan Maxima was entering state Route 45 from Snappy’s. At that time, the Maxima collided with a 2020 Subaru Forester. The names of the drivers were not released by police.
According to authorities, the driver of the Maxima was unable to provide proof of insurance and was cited by PSP.
State police investigated a two-vehicle crash that took place at 3:41 p.m. along state Route 322 in Rush Township on Nov.

According to police, a 2012 Kia Forte driven by Michel Geyer, 48, of West Decatur, was traveling along the roadway when she was unable to stop the vehicle due to heavy snow.
Her vehicle struck a 2015 Subaru Forester being driven by Kathleen Kalinosky, 61, of Philipsburg. Damage to the Forte was severe. It had to be towed from the scene.
The Forester was driven from the scene, police said.
A one-vehicle crash was investigated by state police on Nov. 10 in Snow Shoe Township.
Police say that a 2012 Toyota 4-Runner was traveling along Interstate 80 when a deer entered the roadway. The vehicle, driven by Michelle McClish, 49, of Bronson, Michigan, struck the deer. The crash caused disabling damage.
No injuries were reported in the 5:31 p.m. crash.
State police were called to the scene of a one-vehicle crash that took place along General Potter Highway in Potter Township on Oct. 31.
According to police, a 2015 Kia Sorento being driven by Rebekah Evans, 33, of Hollidaysburg, left the roadway and struck a PennDOT sign. There were no injuries in the 10:21 p.m. incident.
Police were assisted at the scene by Kupples Towing.
A two-vehicle crash was investigated by state police on Nov. 11 in Snow Shoe Township.
According to police, the vehicles involved were a 2018 Chevrolet Trax and a 2002 Nissan Altima. The driver of the Trax was Talia Torres, 28, of Boardman, Ohio. The driver of the Altima was Roy Stapleton, 50, of Snow Shoe.
The crash took place along Beech Creek Road.
No other details were reported in the 5:56 a.m. incident.
State police say that speed was a factor in a one-vehicle crash that took place along Jacksonville Road in Marion Township on Nov. 12.
According to police, a 2017 Dodge Ram pickup truck was traveling at a high rate of speed when the driver, Cody Shreck, 29, of Hughesville, lost control.
The truck left the roadway and struck a traffic sign.
Police say that Shreck and a passenger, Paul Shreck, 53, of Montgomery, suffered minor injuries. They were transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center by Pleasant Gap EMS.
Damage was severe in the 8:04 p.m. crash.
A two-vehicle crash called state police to the scene on Nov. 15. According to police, a 2018 Dodge Ram pickup truck being driven by Caleb Colley, 20, of Milton, and a 2015 Ford F-350 being driven by Thomas Irvin, Jr., 44, of Julian, collided along Black Bear Drive in Potter Township.
No other details were reported by police.
State police were called to the scene of a one-vehicle crash that took place along Interstate 99 in Patton Township. According to police, a 2012 Toyota Scion was traveling on a wet roadway when it began to hydroplane. It struck a guard rail and sustained minor damage.
There were no injuries in the Nov. 11 crash, which took place at 9:39 p.m.
Police did not release the name of the driver involved.
State police investigated a one-vehicle crash that took place along Interstate 80 on Nov. 14.
According to police, a 2013 Ford Explorer was traveling on the Benner Pike in Benner Township when a deer entered the roadway.
The 16-year-old driver was not hurt in the crash.
The vehicle had to be towed from the scene by AAA.
