State police were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash that took place on Feb. 22 along the Benner Pike in State College.
According to police, a 2003 Honda Element being driven by Rachael Labus, 31, of Bellefonte was traveling along the Benner Pike and struck the rear of a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado being driven by Charles Snook, 55, of Bellefonte.
Damage to the Element was severe. It had to be towed from the scene. Damage to the Silverado was minor. Labus was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center by Bellefonte EMS for treatment of her injuries.
The crash took place at 4:59 p.m. Labus was cited her role in the crash.

State police investigated a case of reckless endangerment that allegedly took place along West Sycamore Road in Snow Shoe Township.
According to police, the case involves the welfare of a child. The incident took place sometime between Sept. 1, 2012, and Sept. 30, 2012.
The investigation is ongoing.

State police investigated a one-vehicle crash that took place along Interstate 80 on Feb. 2. According to police, a 2015 Chrysler Town and Country mini-van being driven by Keith Cline, 56, of Goshen, was traveling eastbound along I-80 when he allegedly fell asleep at the wheel and struck a guiderail.
Cline told police he drove to the rest stop at mile marker 145. Damage to the vehicle was severe and required a tow. Cline and a passenger were not hurt in the crash, which took place at 12:41 a.m., police said.

A case of theft was investigated by state police on Feb. 16. According to police, someone stole a trail camera from the Taylor Township stockyard/recycling center. The trail camera is valued at $80. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact state police.

A one-vehicle crash brought state police to Interstate 80 on Feb. 17. According to police, a 2022 Kia Forte being driven by Caleb Aimuwu, 21, of Canal Winchester, Ohio, was traveling in the left lane of I-80 westbound when he said a tractor trailer began changing lanes. To avoid colliding with the tractor trailer, Aimuwu drove off the roadway and struck an embankment.
The Forte sustained disabling damage as a result of the 11:42 p.m. crash and had to be towed from the scene by Rees’ Towing. Aimuwu was not hurt in the crash.

State police were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash that took place along South Eagle Valley Road in Huston Township on Feb. 7.
According to police, a 2018 Ford F-150XLT being driven by a 16-year-old Bellefonte woman was making a left turn off South Eagle Valley Road. She drove head-on into a 2017 Ford F-350 being driven by Charles Greenland, 62, of Warriors Mark. There were no injuries in the 5:03 p.m. crash.

A case of driving under the influence was investigated on Feb. 4. State police say that Darnella Cole, 26, of Pine Grove Mills, was driving a 2014 Ford Escape when she was pulled over along Interstate 99 in Patton Township. No other details were reported by police. Cole was pulled over at 2:10 a.m.

State police investigated a case of drug possession that took place at the intersection of East Locust Street and North Centre Street in Philipsburg Borough on Feb. 16.
According to police, a 22-year-old Philipsburg woman was found to be in possession of marijuana and related paraphernalia.
The incident took place at 6:51 p.m., police said.

State police were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash that took place along state Route 64 in Walker Township on Feb. 20.
According to police, a 2004 Freightliner rear-ended a 2014 Ford F-150 XLT at 10:04 a.m. Damage was minor, but the driver of the tractor trailer was cited. PSP did not release the names of those involved in the crash.
