State police investigated a case of aggravated assault at 9 a.m. on April 30 along West College Avenue in Benner Township.
According to police, Rony Lopez, 63, of Pleasant Gap, allegedly attacked his son with a knife. Ronald Lopez, 33, also of Pleasant Gap, sustained a wound on his hand as a result of the attack. Charges for aggravated assault and harassment were filed against Rony Lopez.

An alleged assault that took place during the Blue-White Game at 2:30 p.m. on April 15 is being investigated by state police. According to police, a 20-year-old man from Wyoming, Pennsylvania, allegedly assaulted three people — two men and a woman. Those involved were from Bedford, State College and Shirleysburg.
No other details were released by state police.

State police investigated a domestic incident along Sinking Creek Road in Potter Township at 7 p.m. on April 27. According to police, a man smashed the windshield and rearview mirror of a 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan owned by a 26-year-old Spring Mills woman. Damage was estimated at $1,300. Charges were to be filed through district court. State police did not release the name of the man involved.

State police investigated a case of criminal mischief that took place between 6 and 10 p.m. on April 27 along Shady Farm Lane in Walker Township. According to police, Seth Krape, 34, of Bellefonte, told police that his 2000 Chevrolet van had been shot.
The investigation is ongoing.

State police investigated a case involving a runaway juvenile along Loch Lomond Road in Rush Township on May 2. The juvenile was found safe.

A one-vehicle crash called state police to Purdue Mountain Road in Benner Township at 6 p.m. on May 1. According to police, a 1990 Toyota MR2 being driven by Sangshan Tian, 25, of State College, left the roadway for unknown reasons. It struck some debris and brush and became disabled.
No injuries were reported.

State police made a drug arrest on April 28. According to police, they pulled over a 2022 Nissan for a traffic violation. The driver, Damien Cordero, 39, of Duncansville, was allegedly found to be driving under the influence of drugs and in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
The incident took place at 1:08 a.m.at the intersection of East Plank Road and Center Street in Port Matilda Borough, police said.

State police investigated a hit-and-run crash that took place along Interstate 80 on April 29. According to police, a Dodge struck a 2015 Subaru Legacy while passing it on I-80 westbound. The Legacy was being driven by Danielle Nutt, 30, of Hawley.
No injuries were reported in the 12:51 p.m. incident.

State police investigated a case of driving under the influence on April 13 along Interstate 80 in Marion Township. According to police, a traffic stop was conducted on a 2003 Buick LeSabre being driven by Russell Smith, 40, of Williamsport.
During the stop, indicators of drug activity were observed. A search of the vehicle yielded drug paraphernalia. The traffic stop took place around 3 a.m.

State police investigated a case of driving under the influence along Interstate 80 in Marion Township at 2:40 a.m. on April 29. According to police, Luis Ramos of Columbus, Ohio, was driving his 2003 Chrysler Caravan the wrong way along I-80. Ramos was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and arrested.

A case of drug possession was investigated by state police at 10:37 a.m. on March 27. According to police, a traffic stop was conducted on a 2008 Mercedes-Benz. A drug investigation was initiated. No other details were reported by PSP.

A case of drug possession was investigated by state police on March 9. According to police, Erik Peterson, 39, of Brunswick, Maryland, was found to be in possession of alleged fentanyl pills.

A hit-and-run crash is being investigated by state police. According to police, an unknown vehicle struck a barn along Buffalo Run Road, which is also known as state Route 550. The vehicle, which is believed to be black, did not stop and continued its route. Police said the vehicle should be missing a driver’s side door and have significant damage to the front of the vehicle.
The crash took place at 11:38 p.m. on April 28, police said.

State police investigated a case of indecent assault that took place on April 24 at The Meadows along Meadows Drive in Potter Township. According to police, the victim was a 20-year-old man from Centre Hall. The incident was reported at 10:37 a.m.

The theft of a driver’s license is being investigated by state police. According to police, a 50-year-old woman from Snow Shoe Borough had her license stolen at 1:17 p.m. on April 28.

A case of theft is being investigated by state police. According to police, a 58-year-old Clarence man had money removed from his bank account. The man resides along Repasky Road in Snow Shoe Township.

A case of drug possession was investigated by state police on April 21. According to police, they pulled over a 2008 Pontiac Gran Prix for multiple lane violations. The driver, a 57-year-old Bellefonte woman, was allegedly under the influence. She was taken into custody for DUI.
Toxicology tests are pending, police said. The traffic stop took place around 2:20 a.m. at the intersection of Willowbank Street and Holmes Street in Bellefonte Borough.
