State Police at Lamar say a 28-year-old Milesburg man is facing a “plethora of traffic citations” after a crash that took place around 4 p.m. on July 13 along Renovo Road in Chapman Township. According to police, a 53-year-old woman from Westfield was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Traverse with two passengers when she slowed for a traffic control truck and was hit by the 28-year-old Milesburg man driving a 2000 Chevrolet Impala. Police stated both vehicles pulled off in a safe area. The driver of the Chevrolet Impala gave his name and phone number to the driver and passengers of the Chevrolet Traverse but did not have insurance, did not provide registration and left the scene of the accident. State police did not release further details.

A Millheim 14-year-old is facing charges after reportedly threatening his stepfather with a knife and then throwing the knife in his mother’s direction. According to state police at Rockview, the incident occurred around 11 p.m. on Sept. 8 along West Main Street in the Millheim Borough. Police also said the teen hit the stepfather multiple times in the head with a holiday decoration as well as biting him multiple times. Police did not release further details.

State police at Rockview investigated a report of criminal mischief around 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 9 along North 11th Street in the Philipsburg Borough. According to police, a 51-year-old Philipsburg woman showed up at the residence of a 61-year-old Philipsburg man and a 40-year-old Fleming man, unwanted. Police stated the woman damaged a shepherd’s hook and retaining wall, costing about $2,410 in damage. The woman then repeatedly called the victims after leaving the residence, police said.

A man from Drifting is facing charges after state police at Rockview found him allegedly under the influence of methamphetamine and possessing suboxone and drug paraphernalia. State police at Rockview responded to a single-vehicle crash around 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 17 along North Eagle Valley Road in Liberty Township. According to police, a 63-year-old Beech Creek woman was driving a 2014 Ford Focus that left the road and drove into the grass embankment. The Ford Focus continued into the embankment until it hit an elevated area of the embankment head-on, flipping the vehicle onto its roof. The driver had to be extricated from the vehicle and was transported to the hospital for suspected serious injuries. The driver was cited for the crash, police said.
