STATE POLICE AT ROCKVIEW

A case of disorderly conduct was investigated by state police on June 4. According to police, a 48-year-old Centre Hall man was outside of an apartment building being loud and vulgar. Police said that in addition to being loud and vulgar, he ripped his shirt off and was using a karaoke machine to amplify his yelling. This caused public inconvenience, alarm and annoyance, police said.

The man was cited through magisterial district justice 49-3-04 in the 7:06 p.m. incident.

State police investigated a case of identity theft that took place in Potter Township sometime between May 17 and May 30. According to police, someone opened several accounts in the name of a 46-year-old Centre Hall woman.

A case of theft is being investigated by state police. According to police, a male and female entered Valley Ace Hardware in Milesburg and stole an LED flashlight and a Bushnell Backtrack D-Tour GPS. They fled the scene in a silver SUV. The incident took place sometime between 3:35 and 3:50 p.m. on May 30.

The items are valued at $200. Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact PSP at (814) 355-7545.

A one-vehicle crash called state police to the intersection of Apple Blossom Lane and Beckwith Road in Worth Township a little after 10 a.m. on June 2. According to police, Scott Dotts, 60, of West Decatur, crashed his 2019 Ram truck into a tree. Dotts was found to be under the influence and was arrested. He was taken to the Centre County Booking Center for processing and release.

Police were assisted at the scene by Halfmoon Towing.

State police were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash that took place along state Route 350 in Taylor Township at 11:56 a.m. on June 1. According to police, a 2018 Toyota Tundra struck a 2020 Mercedes-Benz cargo van. The driver of the Tundra, Edward Huss, 53, of Chambersburg sustained a suspected serious injury in the crash. The driver of the van, 59-year-old Cynthia Bauman of Woodland, sustained what was believed to be a minor injury in the crash.

Police were assisted at the scene by Halfmoon Towing, fire police and EMS.

State police investigated a case of harassment that took place at The Meadows in Potter Township on June 3. According to police, Robert Kimball, 65, of Centre Hall, allegedly spit on a woman and poured coffee on another. The women were a 50-year-old from Milroy and a 57-year-old from Boalsburg.

Kimball was cited with two counts of harassment through magisterial district justice 49-3-04. Citations were issued at the scene of the 7 a.m. incident.

A case of driving under the influence was investigated by state police at 7:07 p.m. on May 25. According to police, a 2011 Kia Soul being driven by Caroline Roberson, 41, of Pleasant Gap, was pulled over along Interstate 99 in Benner Township for a summary traffic violation. Roberson was found to allegedly be under the influence of drugs.

The investigation continues.

State police investigated a case of theft that took place along Walnut Street in Howard Borough on June 6. According to police, a tow-away sign was stolen and an outside light was spray-painted at Brightspeed in Howard. Damage is estimated at $150. The incident was reported at 10:56 a.m. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact PSP.

A case of theft took place at the intersection of Sawmill Road and Monument Orviston Road in Liberty Township around 5 p.m. on June 2. Police said that one barrier light was stolen and one barrier light was damaged. Costs for both lights is estimated at $160.

State police investigated a case of harassment that took place at a McDonald’s in Boggs Township on May 29. According to police, Ashley Allegretto, 38, of Lewistown, was the victim of harassment at 11:25 a.m. The investigation is ongoing.

A case of drug possession was investigated by state police on May 25. According to police, a traffic stop was initiated at 7:46 a.m. along Interstate 80 in Snow Shoe Township. Police said the driver of a 2009 Honda Odyssey was in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

No other details were reported by PSP.

A one-vehicle crash called state police to Interstate 80 at 7:15 a.m. on June 5. According to police, Adnan Khan, 38, of Staten Island, New York, swerved to miss a deer, left the roadway and struck a guard rail. He steered his 2017 Honda Accord back onto the roadway but lost control again and struck another guard rail, causing disabling damage.

Khan was taken to the Mount Nittany Medical Center by Beech Creek-Blanchard EMS for treatment of a suspected minor injury. Police were assisted at the scene by the Lamar Fire Company, Howard Fire Company and Beech Creek-Blanchard EMS.

State police responded to a case of harassment that took place on June 8 along Lisk Street in Walker Township.

According to police, Megan Summers, 25, and Erica Summers, 35, both of Howard, were involved in a physical altercation. Both women were cited for harassment in the 5:03 a.m. incident.

A case of drug possession was investigated by state police at 7:47 p.m. on May 27. According to police, they conducted a routine traffic stop of a 2010 Hyundai Elantra along Interstate 99 in Patton Township. During the stop, the driver, Thomas Boaz, 21, of Yeagertown, was found to be in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

State police investigated a case of found property at 10:18 a.m. on May 29. According to police, a Ruger 9mm pistol was found in a field. The owner of the pistol was located and arrangements were made to return the firearm.

A case of disorderly conduct was investigated by state police at 10:35 a.m. on June 3. According to police, a verbal altercation took place at the Philipsburg-Osceola High School soccer field in Philipsburg Borough. Laura Gunther, 23, of Osceola Mills, was cited for disorderly conduct.

State police made a drug arrest around 8:30 p.m. on June 8 along Country Lane in Boggs Township. According to police, Daniel Cowder, 41, of Fleming, was in possession of methamphetamine. Charges were filed through magisterial district justice 49-3-02.

A case of criminal mischief is being investigated by state police. According to police, someone threw a rock at a 2002 Chevrolet while it was traveling along Earlystown Road in Potter Township. The rock cracked the windshield of the vehicle, which was owned by a 27-year-old Bellefonte man.

Police said the incident took place sometime between 4:30 p.m. on June 7 and 7 a.m. on June 8. PSP completed a neighborhood canvas with negative results. Additionally, there is no video surveillance in the area that could help with identifying a suspect.

Damage is estimated at $150.

A case of theft is being investigated by state police. According to police, a 51-year-old Howard woman had a weed trimmer and extension cord stolen from behind her house sometime between 4 p.m. on June 8 and 8 a.m. on June 9.

The items are valued at $120.

A one-vehicle crash was investigated by state police at 9:18 a.m. on June 10. According to police, a 2017 Jeep Compass was traveling along Interstate 99 in Patton Township when it struck a deer. There were no injuries reported and the vehicle was driven from the scene. Police did not release the name of the driver.
