STATE COLLEGE — Rockview state police issued a Missing Endangered Person Advisory on Dec. 25, 2024, for a 77-year-old Centre County man. In the release, police noted that Leon Bowman, of Howard, “may be at special risk of harm or injury or may be confused.”
Bowman is 6 foot, 110 pounds, balding with gray hair and a beard and has brown eyes.
In the initial advisory, Bowman was last seen around Bowman Camp Road in Howard on Dec. 16, 2024, around 11 a.m. However, an updated advisory on Dec. 28, 2024, disclosed he was spotted again somewhere between noon and 4 p.m. on Dec. 23, 2024, by his mailbox located on Howard Divide Road. Police requested that residents who live on Howard Divide Road and Marsh Creek Road check any garages, sheds or other exterior buildings for Bowman.
