LEMONT — The Potter’s Guild — an affiliate of the Art Alliance of Central PA — is hosting its sale in Lemont just in time for the Strawberry Festival.
On Saturday, June 6 from 12 to 7 p.m. at the Art Alliance’s Gallery at 818 Pike St. in Lemont, there will be a selection of handcrafted pottery made by local guild members.
Now through June 5, Auntie G’s Dog Training and Boarding at 908 Pike St., just a few doors down from the gallery — features a special preview display of pieces by guild members — a great way to get a sneak peek f the pottery items before the sale.
During the sale, attendees will have the chance to browse and bring home truly one-of-a-kind pieces. Pick out a new mug, a berry bowl just right for the season, or a vase ready to hold the perfect spring bouquet. Every piece is handmade by talented local artists who pour their craft into every curve and glaze.
Supporting this sale means supporting more than just the potters. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Art Alliance to help sustain the community programming that makes Lemont’s arts scene special.
