BELLEFONTE — Just a few days after Bellefonte nudged out Penns Valley for the top spot at the Southern Tier Memorial, the unbeaten Rams earned a 38-33 win over the Red Raiders on Jan. 13 at Bellefonte.

Bellefonte’s Colin Harter (107) and Rylan Lucas (114) began the dual meet with pins, but then the Rams (10-0) reeled off four straight falls. Conner Myers (121), Max Dinges (127), Erik Carlile (133) and Tripp Watson (139) responded with first-period pins to give the Rams the lead for good.

“Sawyer’s match was a must,” Penns Valley coach Joel Brinker said, “and I couldn’t be prouder of him and his effort.”
