STATE COLLEGE — Country music star Riley Green is bringing his high-octane “Damn Country Music Tour” to the Bryce Jordan Center on Thursday, Nov. 13, as part of a newly announced series of concert dates.
The tour is produced by Live Nation and kicked off on Thursday, May 1, in Athens, Georgia. Green’s State College stop is one of eight dates that were recently added to the tour schedule.
With rugged charm and a traditional country sound, Green continues to draw huge crowds across America. His recent success includes five nominations at the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards, largely due to his heart-warming hit, “You Look Like You Love Me,” featuring Ella Langley.
Joining Green on the road for select dates are fellow country artists Jamey Johnson, Drake White and Hannah McFarland. The upcoming segment of the tour will feature a mix of intimate performances and arena shows.
Green’s latest album, “Don’t Mind If I Do,” was released in October to critical acclaim and his success shows no signs of slowing down. Several tracks from the record: “Worst Way,” “Jesus Saves” and the title track featuring Langley, have achieved both Platinum and Gold certification. The album features five songs solely written by Green, reflecting his roots and straightforward approach to country music storytelling.
Green has built a loyal fan base since debuting in 2018 with his self-titled EP. He rose to fame with hits like “There Was This Girl,” “I Wish Grandpas Never Died” and his collaboration with Thomas Rhett, “Half of Me.”
He’s certainly no stranger to big stages. Green spent 2023 opening for Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs on arena and stadium tours. He most recently wrapped his “Ain’t My Last Rodeo Tour,” which featured Tracy Lawrence and Ella Langley.
With a grounded presence and a style that resonates with country traditionalists and modern fans alike, Green continues to cement his place as one of today’s top country performers.
