Police pulled over Arnold Southerland, 36, of Bellefonte, for allegedly driving without headlights on College Avenue in College Township at 2:15 a.m. on Aug. 15. Southerland was arrested for the alleged possession of a small amount of drugs, said police.

Police said Karen Patrick, 58, of Philipsburg, allegedly used a credit card that was left in an ATM at M&T Bank in Philipsburg on Sept. 3 to buy cigarettes, fuel and other things before returning the card to the bank the next day.

Police were dispatched to a report of a suspicious person on Luse Road in Potter Township on Sept. 11. After investigation, police said the individual had a legitimate purpose in the area.

Police responded to 105 Stonecrest Drive, Benner Township, for a report of man acting strangely on Sept.

19. Upon arrival, police determined that a 51-year-old Brooklyn man had opened an unlocked car and sat inside to get out of the rain. Police reported that nothing was taken or damaged and the man was cooperative. A citation was filed for disorderly conduct and he was released.

Police responded to the report of an unresponsive man in a yard on East Main Street in Howard Township on Sept. 18 and determined the 35-year-old Howard man was allegedly under the influence of alcohol. The man was treated by EMS and issued a citation for public drunkenness.

Karen Patrick, 58, of Philipsburg, allegedly called 911 multiple times on Sept. 18 to report a crime that clearly did not occur, said police.

Police responded to 221 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Centre Hall, on Sept. 20 for a report that a 46-year-old man was making alleged terroristic threats. After a thorough investigation, the man was arrested and charged with terroristic threats, harassment, resisting arrest, aggravated driving, DUI, disorderly conduct and careless driving, said police.

A 43-year-old Milroy man was arrested after he was pulled over for speeding on General Potter Highway and police discovered he was allegedly driving without a court ordered interlock device.

On Sept. 22 police investigated a report of a suspicious person at the CNB Bank parking lot on East Presqueisle Street in Philipsburg. A canvas of the area yielded negative results, said police.
