STATE COLLEGE — The State College Spikes to host SpikesFest 2025 and more on Saturday, April 12.

The 2025 edition of SpikeFest presented by Mount Nittany Health will begin at 3 and go to 5 p.m. SpikeFest is a free event at Medlar Field looking to grow anticipation for the Spikes 2025 season.

Activities will include SpikesFest Charity Auction benefiting the Mount Nittany Health Foundation. The auction will feature collectibles and memorabilia from sports, entertainment and history for bid.

Local stores and organizations will also be on-site with interactive displays. A few of those that will be present are Get Air State College, Jared Box Project, State College Community Land Trust and Centre Helps.

The ballpark food and drink stands will be open for the full event, rolling right into the Penn State game that night.

At 5:30 p.m. the Nittany Lions are set to face off against USC for the first time in the Big Ten. This will be the second game of the series between Penn State and the Trojans.

The Nittany Lions are off to a hot start in 2025, going 15-5 through their first 20 games with only two losses in the Big Ten. USC is also doing well as they are 12-8 through the first 20.

For SpikesFest the ballpark will remain free for entry for all fans during the Penn State game. The Spikes won’t end the fun there, though, also hosting a firework show that night after the game.

Day-of-event parking can be found through the Honk app for $10 with folks able to save money with prepaid parking on psu.parkmobile.io for $5.50.
