According to police, a 2012 Dodge Caravan school van carrying two children driven by a 50-year-old Snow Shoe woman hit a 2016 Ford F-150XLT driven by a 72-year-old Howard man after he turned left onto Curtin Hollow Road in front of the school van. The driver of the school van and the 3-year-old and 4-year-old passengers were taken to the hospital with suspected minor injuries. The 72-year-old Howard man was cited for the crash.

According to police, a 19-year-old Harrison City man was driving a 2010 BMW X5 when he was negotiating a curve and veered off the road before hitting a cable barrier. The vehicle continued along the cable barrier until hitting a guide rail, ricocheting off of it before coming to an uncontrolled final rest. State police did not report any injuries, but the 19-year-old Harrison City man was cited for the crash.

According to police, the crash occurred when an uninvolved vehicle was stopped, yielding to take a left turn. While waiting for the traffic to clear up, a 2016 Ford Focus driven by a 31-year-old Port Matilda man was stopped behind the uninvolved vehicle when a 42-year-old Warriors Mark man driving a Dodge vehicle failed to notice the stoppage ahead and hit the Ford Focus from behind, causing the vehicle to spin out until it hit a PennDOT mobile message board. State police did not report any injuries, but the 42-year-old Warriors Mark man was cited for the crash.

Police responded to a road rage incident that occurred around 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, in the area of South Pennsylvania Avenue and Earlystown Road in Potter Township. According to police, an unidentified female driver brandished a knife outside the window of the vehicle she was driving in what appeared to be a threatening gesture toward a 23-year-old Lewistown woman. The Lewistown woman was unable to provide officers with an accurate vehicle description or registration plate, but the suspect was described as an older white woman.
